Anesthesia
You will be placed under anesthesia so the procedure is painless for you.
Access to the nose
Our doctor will make incisions to access the internal structures of the nose. There are two types of incisions: intranasal, which is just inside the nose, and open, which are inside the nose and outside between the nostrils.
Processing
Using special tools, the specialist will manipulate the cartilage and bone to create the shape and size of the nose that balances with your other features. Tissue and bone in the nose can be reduced or removed to improve the overall size, length or shape. Bone grafts can be added if the doctor needs to modify the shape of the nasal cartilage. Grafts are usually constructed from cartilage or tissue fillers.
